A Lasting Impact
General Contracting
This comprehensive process generally involves several General Contractors who compete on a particular project, as defined by specific contract documents prepared by a Prime Design Consultant. The Prime Design Consultant is generally hired directly by the owner or client. Examples of these types of projects may include; Commercial, Industrial, Renovation, and Restoration servicing both public and private sectors. The contractor can be selected by using one of three common methods;
Low-bid selection
Best-value selection
Qualifications-based selection
CIC Inc. provides complete cost certainty and accountability on projects where a final set of drawings is made available. The Project Manager and Management Team coordinates all activities including acquisition of shop drawings and material samples, communications with the landlord, monitoring quality of workmanship and safety standards, initiating site inspections with engineers and governing bodies, coordinating commissioning of tenant equipment and deficiency resolution.
To maintain open communication and adherence to the schedule, CIC Inc. chairs meetings in which all team members are encouraged to attend. Minutes are recorded and distributed to all interested parties.
On project completion CIC Inc. prepares comprehensive closeout documentation including issuance of all warranties, and as-build drawings, and O&M Manuals.

The Construction Management Team at CIC Inc. is a group of talented and experienced construction managers, supervisors, and selected Design Consultants that have earned an excellent reputation for working collaboratively to ensure projects are completed as scheduled, within budget, and to the owner's satisfaction.
CIC Inc. offers a full range of services that include planning, design and coordination, construction and complete management of any construction project.
CIC Inc's methodology to Construction Management centres on a hands on team driven approach where our clients work along with our Project Team comprised of a Project Manager, Superintendent, and Design Consultant.
